I have extensive experience in researching people in the United States and the United Kingdom. Unfortunately I don’t have access to many records outside of these areas, so I cannot guarantee I will be able to find much if your family is from elsewhere. Additionally, if the records are not in English, I will not be able to read them.

I use the Genealogical Proof Standard, which is described as “a set of guidelines that assists researchers, including professional genealogists, in formulating conclusions backed with reasonable certainty, thereby setting a high standard for quality and communication in genealogical endeavors.” (McDermott, 2018)

I can research the answers to specific questions you may have about your family or ancestors, or the general history if you’re just curious about what information might be out there.
